“For I remember it is Easter morn, And life and love and peace are all new born.” ~Alice Freeman Palmer

We had a very nice Easter celebration this year. The kids were excited about the holiday and the bunnies and the eggs and the baskets coming from all directions. Our nanny brought them a basket a couple of days before Easter, the bunny brought them one on Easter and Grandma sent one the day after Easter.   We attended church at our lovely Graham Chapel where the kids were great and loved sitting in the balcony.  And our lovely neighbors, the Kammiens, had their annual Easter Party with parade and the Real Easter Bunny.  Our dear friends, the Robsons,  joined us for the first Real Holiday Meal I’ve ever cooked (it included: easter egg shaped jello eggs Grandma Tebbe style, homemade banana bread, asparagus, mom’s famous rice salad, sweet potatoes, fruit salad and a honey baked ham (that was purchased)). We also had an egg hunt in the backyard.

We had a blast!  We had life and love and peace in our house.  How lucky are we?
