A cloudy day, or a little sunshine, have as great an influence on many constitutions as the most real blessings or misfortunes. ~Joseph Addison
This has been a cloudy summer week. It’s kinda cozy.
I’m grateful for the trains that snake through Kirkwood all day, every day. The sound of the train rattling along gives me such a sense of peace and reminds me how small I am while still connected to the big old world rumbling along doing its business. Except when I’m late and railroaded. Then its more of a sense of something less peaceful.
Loved watching School of Rock with the kiddos on a rainy evening last night. Jack Black is a crazy man. Max is the bear in the bottom right.
Grateful to see this deer hanging out in the old cemetery by the pool; she looked peaceful. I told Max about it and he thought the deer must have been visiting her mom who was buried there. ???
